About The Honeypot

Life is hard to navigate, and people (ideally) make it easier. 

The Honeypot is a community newsletter published every Sunday. You never know what tidbit from one person’s life will domino into yours and change it for the better- a recommendation for a therapist, a reflection on a breakup, an obsession with a new expensive but important nut milk. It’s tempting to feel like we have to do it all by ourselves in this life, and there is such sweetness in remembering it’s just not true.

In our own circles we share tips and tricks to help us deal with the messiness of being alive. The Honeypot is a place where those circles can meet (JUST like the Olympics), where sweet people can say to each other, I don’t know what’s “supposed” to be happening, but this is how I’m making it through.

Hello! I’m Olivia West Nielsen. One of my favorite things in life is mashing all of the wonderful humans that I know together and seeing what happens- think dinner parties, not Frankenstein (yet..!). In the moments when I’m not scouring Swedish design blogs, I’m an actor and writer based in Los Angeles. Sometimes I tell fun stories on tiktok, and sometimes I feature huge lizards from my yard on instagram- this is called balance. I love beautiful objects, funny reflections on the sticky spots in life, and people most of all.
